Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Bland boring avocado toast and salmon toast (it's what the hostess suggested as a favorite). Waited 25min for something that takes no more than 2 min to make. Waitress gave the vibe that she was tolerating us the opposite of friendly or welcoming. The only nice thing is that you can sit in the back where it is a quaint home floral garden style seating (but chairs are not the most sturdy). With so soooooo many other Great choices to dine on Park St. I won't be coming here again.

We had the best birthday celebration tea party at Julie’s this weekend! Shannon was amazing to work with, even making a beautifully light, amazing peaches and cream birthday cake 😍. There was a surprisingly large amount of food and everyone expressed how great the quality was and the uniqueness of each piece. The tea was lovely as well. I highly recommend!

Love this cute little place. Healthy food, coffee and tea, cute outdoor garden, dog friendly. I got the grain bowl with quinoa and crispy black lentils and it was delicious. Also got cappuccino with oat milk and it was great. I would totally come back and highly recommend!

I ordered the orange beet salad and added the $5 chicken add-on. They threw some cold, chopped chicken (food not look like the slices in the picture at all) on top of a bed of spinach, a couple beet slices, and some red onions. The blood orange vinegrette was completely tasteless. It was like they just put olive oil on it and called it a day. For a $20 salad, I might as well go to Mixt Greens and have left overs the next day. My $8 lavender lemonade was only slightly less mediocre. I'm incredibly disappointed because this place looked cute and the garden patio is adorable, but the food absolutely does not match the fancy words on the menu. My friend ordered avocado toast and they're was barely anything on the plate. It didn't even look like a full piece of toast. I will NEVER get food here again, if I EVER return at all.

Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden is one of those spots that instantly wins you over with both its charm and its energy. Yes, it gets very busy on weekends—but it’s popular for a reason, the service stays fast, attentive, and genuinely warm even during the rush. Food-wise, everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The avocado toast was solid and satisfying, but the real standout was the Julie breakfast sandwich—easily the highlight of the meal, packed with flavor , delicious. The granola with fruit was another winner: light, fresh, and delicious, a great option if you’re in the mood for something a bit healthier. We also grabbed some scones to go, and they did not disappoint—absolutely fantastic and worth taking home. Overall, despite the weekend crowds, Julie’s delivers an experience that feels both lively and well-run, with consistently great food and standout service that keeps things moving smoothly.
